Today I made a snap decision to release the Reshade version.
The following text is a 1:1 copy of my Moddb.com entry.
Update:
I tested the ReShade version with friends and acquaintances, and it will replace the current version.
GZdoom version:
This version comes with GZdoom. You need a legal Doom2.wad or freedoom.wad file to run the mod the wad file must also be placed in the GZDoom folder.
Reshade is already installed with the Vulkan API and does not work with OpenGL.
The entire mod also doesn’t work with OpenGL ES.
Start:
Drag and drop the pk3 file onto Gzdoom.exe or simply use the .bat file .bat file name (StartPoolDoomRooms.bat)
In my experience, this method is more user friendly and a one-click solution.
Troubleshooting:
If it absolutely refuses to work, PoolDoomRooms.pk3 can also simply be started with your GzDoom.
Simply copy the pk3 file to your gzdoom folder or wherever you store your mods.
Reshade settings:
This is an experiment, and the ReShade version includes 3 custom INI files that can be loaded via the ReShade menu.
1. Normal: as it should be
2. Performance: for laptops or less powerful PCs
3. Off: if nothing works
To open the Reshade menu, use the POS1 key (Home key).
Finally, the Updates (Maps):
Level 1 has been tested for errors and is running.
Level 2 is currently being expanded and has been slightly adjusted there is also a red key that needs to be found.
The real update is Reshade and the level enhancements.
