DINGUS MOD combined with XEN MONSTERS ONLY gives you THIS amazing piece of codemixup..
GMOD in doom basically. WITH 3D MODELS! and it seems as if you can just load monster packs on top. I could’ve loaded the HL2 monster pack too as an example. But I noticed the “FRIENDLY” Combine here are actually also enemies. So you already have the possibility to fight them. And best of all? I am sure this whole pack is compatible with different mappacks. Meaning you can play with these weapons and monsters in almost any map you like. Just load the map AFTER the Modcombo. that should prompt doom to load it instead of the DINGUS maps.
You have a collection of HL2 assets at your disposal, different monsters from DOOM in the vanilla dingus mod as well as HL2 companions and Combine and with additional mods loaded you can turn those in anything you like. My tip.. just try whatever combination you like. HALO or DOOSK monsters as an example.
You can play the 2 most famous GMOD maps like FLAT GRASS and the other one with the buildings. but you also have the amazing Deathmatch map you can use. It’s an absolutely amazing remake of a HL2 Deathmatch map I guess. or even completely new. but.. whatever it is.. it looks absolutely gorgeous. Maybe we could get that as a standalone map?
All in all this is the most advanced GMOD mod for doom we have it seems.. There’s more. but this one has the most features/content.
