A few years ago I wrote a community post asking “why has nobody made a murder drones mod” and guess what? 2 days ago it happened..
Krypton57 came forward and uploaded HIS FIRST Doom mod. MASS DISASSEMBLY is a Murder Drones inspired Weapons and monster mod (Partial conversion) which comes with a bunch of amazing features.
Hover around, Slam on the Ground, Slice and Dice, Use shields as cover or Enemies take overs.
⚠️PLEASE READ THE TUTORIAL ON DOOM WORLD. There are a lot of features you could miss easily ⚠️
One of them Missed also reading the tutorial was the usage of the upgrade system. PRESS THE USE KEY! Not secondary fire. I wonder why that way was chosen. Secondary fire doesn’t have any use now I think.
The sprite work of the weapons and character model are absolutely top notch. Same with sound design and effects. The monsters are custom Vanilla monsters mostly. Which, imo is kinda sad. I would’ve wished for at least some kind of series related monsters but we can’t have everything. I’m still absolutely happy with this mod. It will be added in my list of 100 top doom mods of all time. Let’s hope the developers keep working on this and maybe - in the future - add more monster variants.

TIP-
You kill different colored monsters..4 colors. every kill with a certain weapon like the claws adds one bit to the circle on the right until, when full, it allows for the usage of some devastating attack , shield or Monster takeover. ACTVATE WITH USE KEY!
Also don’t miss the Hover and Groundslam funtion (hold jump and press crouch mid jump!)
