This one is absolutely amazing! Not only has it some of the biggest maps I’ve seen so far in doom, but also some of the most beautiful ones. The dystopian yet somehow clean looking Cyberpunk city awaits you with long and claustrophobic corridors, big and open town areas with insanely high megastructures, a beautiful harbor, red light districts and more.
Gameplay is amazing too. You have a pretty easy to use parry feature and headshots as well as a dash move and really funny reload/ throw gun feature when using the pistol. I hope the dev. Won’t fix that or patch that out.
You run around searching for the exit and on the way you meet all kinds of cyberpunk/manga/furry themed enemies. Sadly the variety is rather limited so I changed it a little bit.
Music and sounds are a BLAST. The retro 80th style synth music works perfectly with the setting and gets you pumped in no time.
Now to the changes. I’ve used UNIVERSAL ENTROPY as well as MONSTER GENETICS addon to change up the enemies little. The first one changes their size randomly and the second changes their frequency of shooting as well as their health. I’ve also swapped the in game dash move with a new one allowing for a much quicker and unlimited usable dash. Of course gun bonsai and other add-ons like slow motion aren’t missing either.
